VISITING APPOINTMENTS AND EXCHANGE STUDENTS

Exchange Students

McMaster University has a formal Student Exchange Programme with agreements signed with several universities abroad and within Canada.

You can only participate in an exchange if you are currently attending a university/institution which has a signed formal student exchange agreement with McMaster University.  Some agreement may not apply to all academic areas of study but to specific faculties.  For a list of agreements, please see Exchange Agreements at http://oisa.mcmaster.ca   Check with your university for your eligibility in the exchange.  We do not provide financial support.

Visiting Appointments

If your university/institution does not have an exchange agreement with McMaster University then you may still be considered as a VISITING STUDENT.  With the expressed written permission of your university/institution, you may spend a term or full academic year enrolled in courses, but you will not receive a degree or course credit from McMaster University.

For undergraduate consideration as a visiting student on a Letter of Permission, please contact the Office of the Registrar McMaster University - Admission Requirements

For Graduate consideration as a visiting student, please contact the School of Graduate Studies
